Car & Bike Show

Our Car & Bike Show is an unmatched demonstration of the luxury of gold miners and big business owners on the Essequibo Coast. These so-called “monsters” exhibit vehicles and bikes of the highest fashion in Guyana. Each year the Resort’s accommodation is sold out due to the heavy attendance for the show. There are usually qualified judges who make the decisions for the categories of best car, loudest sound, best antique vehicle, best bike, etc. The cars displayed are an enthralling show for themselves. The extremely loud music emitting from these “tiny” vehicles are a wonder to the crowd who usually looks on attentively while sipping on their favorite beverages. Just like the regatta, Mainstay’s Car & Bike Shows are similarly unparalleled in Guyana, making it a “cannot-be-missed” event in Essequibo each year!
