These prices cover a one-night stay with a complimentary breakfast of toasts and eggs for the next day. Our official check-in time is 3 pm and check-out is the following day at 1 pm.
The rates are as follows:
🔶 Toucan Lodge (small bedroom) – $18,000 (2 persons)
🔶 Garden Setting Lodge (two bedrooms) – $30,000 (4 persons)
🔶 Lake View Lodge (two bedrooms) – $36,000 (4 persons)
🔶 Honeymoon Suite (spacious bedroom) – $50,000 (2 persons)
This is the structure of all our “Garden Setting” and “Lake View” Lodges: they have two separate bedrooms (each bedroom has a queen-sized bed), a single cot in the sitting area, one bathroom for the entire cabin, and a private front porch. These cabins are equipped with air-conditioning units (1 cools both bedrooms in the cabin), hot showers, cable TV, a mini refrigerator, and seating.
Adding an extra person to a lodge will cost $6,000 per adult and $3,000 per child aged 4-12. Babies are free.

🔥 The office operates from 8:30 am to 16:30 pm Mondays to Fridays. It also operates on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. It is located at 90 Carmichael Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown (Opposite Burnham’s Basketball Court).
🔥 Also, if you are not anywhere close to Georgetown then you can make a deposit into our “Republic Bank Account” and send us a copy of the deposit slip and we will call the bank to confirm receipt of such and hence, confirm the reservation. The account number is: 95845-685-187-7 and the account name is “Lake Mainstay Resort”.
🔥We also accept credit card payments but please note every card transaction attracts a 5% bank charge.

PS. As long as you have paid for your reservation, you’ll qualify for free entrance at the village toll booth and the main gate as your name will appear on their reservation list of VIPs. If no payment is made before the trip you’ll be required to purchase a day pass for each person.
For US $155 for each person we are offering an all-inclusive one-night trip ⚖️ You must purchase the package for at least 2 persons to qualify for that price (that means 2 persons will be US $310). Details of the trip are as follows:
- ⏰ Pickup time: 10 am from Central Georgetown (round trip) & departs Lake Mainstay at 13:00 hrs.
- 🛳️ River Crossing: Ferry (over the mighty Essequibo)
- 🏘️ Room Type: Toucan Single or Garden Setting Double
- 🏖️ Extension of Stay: Every additional night cost US $110 for each person
- 🍲 Meals: Lunch & dinner on day one and breakfast & lunch on day two
- 💵 Discounts: Kids 4 to 12 years are half-price. Babies under 4 years are free.
- 🚗 Driving yourself? US $110 for each person for meals and accommodation

TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS?
Our transportation prices are ROUND TRIP (or as some would say: to COME and to GO BACK 💫) Our cars would take 4 persons max while the buses would allow 10 persons max.
They are as follows:
🚥 Georgetown to Parika (1-hour drive) – Car $16,000 or Bus $30,000
🚥 Parika to Supenaam – Ferry (90 minutes) $1,000 Per Person or Speed Boat (30 minutes) $3,400 Per Person
🚥 Supenaam to Lake Mainstay Resort (1-hour drive) – Car $16,000 or Bus $30,000
Spend just one day…
Daytrippers are accepted here…Day passes cost $700 per adult and $500 per child (ages 4 to 12). This charge gives you access to the beach throughout the day until 6 pm. A “Village Toll” is also required to be paid at the toll booth of the Mainstay/Whyaka Village.
For US $125 per person, we are offering an exclusive day tour to Lake Mainstay Resort! Details of the trip are as follows:
- ⏰ Pickup time: 6 am in Georgetown & depart Lake Mainstay at 3 pm (round trip)
- 🛳️ River Crossing: Speed boat (over the mighty Essequibo)
- 🏘️ Room Type: Toucan Single
- 🍲 Meals: Mid-morning snack on arrival & lunch at 12 pm
- 💵 Discounts: Groups of 6-12 persons are US $100 per person. Kids 4-12 years old are half price
- 🏖️ Activities: Swimming, volleyball, cricket, pools, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing (cost attached), etc.

CANCELLATION POLICY
✔️If you cancel your trip from the moment you received your receipt to a period of 3 days/72 hours before your trip you will be entitled to 75% refund. ✔️If you cancel between 72 & 24 hours prior to your trip, you’ll only be entitled to 25% refund. ✔️No refund if you cancel on the day of your trip/don’t show up. ✔️ You can postpone your trip and utilise it at a later date with no deductions providing you give us at least 1-week notice.
